A graduate of Central St Martins, Helen worked with leading-edge design & trend forecasting agencies, followed by the BBC (in creative services) before leaving to co-found the consultancy. She specialises in retail, beauty, fashion, packaging, sustainability and wellbeing issues.
Another of her skills is agency liaison re: creative development activity. It’s unusual for researchers to be design-trained, and as such she can act as an informal link between client and agencies, for instance re: visualising research outputs in a way that links the detail of consumer insights within brand guidelines, whilst enabling creative interpretation. Sounds really obvious but…it’s amazing how many times this comes up as an industry faultline!
Every ‘purpose led company’ takes participating in the community seriously; which Helen does, for instance, by passing-on a passion for craft via her award-winning involvement with the Craft Council. (checkout www.craftrevolution.org for more info).
